Our bioswales are more than just pretty landscaping features! These green infrastructure projects reduce stormwater runoff, help recharge the Chicot Aquifer, improve the quality of runoff, and provide a habitat for our pollinator friends.
The Office of Sustainability is working with Ragin' Cajuns Athletics to make Cajun Field a Zero Waste stadium. That means we are going to start collecting compost during football games! To make this run smoothly, we need student help as "zero waste goalies" during the games.
