University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Intergrated Pest Management Plan

This Intergrated Pest Management(IPM) Plan is in place to prevent pest problems, reduce pesticide use, and expand the use of non-chemical pest management methods.

As defined in 7U.S.C.§136r, a IPM is “a sustainable approach to managing pests by combining biological, cultural, physical, and chemical tools in a way that minimizes economic, health, and environmental risks.” - USDA
