Town & Gown Summit

The Town & Gown Summit was a day-long skill building and networking event on Monday, March 31, 2025 at the Picard Center. Attendees from the UL Lafayette community and our local community partners had opportunities to engage with each other and learn about current partnerships and develop new ones between the campus and community agencies.

The UL Lafayette Community Collaboratory brings together our town and gown partners to strengthen our communities and create a better world for future generations. The Community Collaboratory fosters collaboration and mutually beneficial partnerships, promotes meaningful dialogue, and co-develops solutions to address community priorities. It enriches teaching and learning while providing professional development and service opportunities to prepare educated and engaged citizens. The Town & Gown Summit is one of the premier events of the Community Collaboratory to bring the community and campus together.
