The Office of Sustainability and Community Engagement hosts various service and engagement opportunities during the fall and spring semesters.

Reoccurring service and engagement events include:

  • Krewe de Coulee: Mardi Gras - After Mardi Gras in the Spring Semester - Open to everyone!
  • Krewe de Coulee: UL Homecoming - After the Homecoming Parade in the Fall Semester - Open to everyone!
  • The Big Event - March - Open for community service sites!
  • Love the Boot Beautification + Clean Up - April during Fête de la Terre ( Earth Month)
  • Soul Camp - Summer
  • Arbor Day Tree Planting- January 
  • Move Out Day - May 
  • Zero Waste Football Games with AmeriCorps - Fall Semester
  • Community Engagement Fair - Open to everyone!
  • Town & Gown Summit- Open to everyone!
