Krewe de Coulee - Post Mardi Gras Clean up coming Feb 23rd

When the Mardi Gras festivities come to an end, what happens to all of the trash left behind after the parades?  Discarded trash, litter, and beads from parades affect the beauty of our campus and community and can end up in our stormwater systems and waterways after heavy rains. With your help we can clean up Johnson street and keep our coulees clean!

The Office of Sustainability would like to invite you and your organization to the Krewe De Coulee Volunteer Clean Up happening at 2pm Thursday, February 23! Volunteers will meet at the Office of Sustainability, located at 1606 Johnson Street.

Litter pickers, gloves, vests, and trash bags will be provided. So just bring good walking shoes and your friends. The first 50 students to sign up for the Krewe de Coulee Clean Up will receive a free Keep UL Lafayette Beautiful - Krewe de Coulee T-shirt. Sign up today to claim your T-shirt: https://forms.office.com/r/QczHuScgDm

Individual volunteers and teams from UL Lafayette organizations are welcome!
