Keep UL Lafayette Beautiful has been awarded the Keep Louisiana Beautiful ( KLB ) University Affiliate grant, which is a reimbursement grant for $4,963 that will fund projects at our institution focused on sustainability, waste reduction, and/or litter prevention.

The Keep UL Lafayette Beautiful project is installation of trash and recycling receptacles for the lobbies of the academic, administrative, and residential buildings on campus. Funding from this grant will also support purchasing of items to educate and raise awareness of Keep UL Lafayette Beautiful and our mission. Items, such as t-shirts and reusable tote bags, which will be distributed to students and members of the UL Lafayette community who assist in our efforts to keep UL Lafayette beautiful.
