Think Global. GEAUX Local!

The UL at Lafayette Office of Sustainability is excited to work with all of our campus and community partners to present a week full of fun and exciting events!

Have you ever wanted to take a canoe trip down the Vermilion, or grow your own garden? Have you ever wondered how our unique, cultural heritage is related to many principles of sustainability? Would you rather ride your bike to school than fight traffic in your car, but your bike is need of maintenance? Are you interested in how your own individual actions impact both our local environment and the global environment?

Fete de la Terre 2014 has trips, parties, service learning, and lectures for all of these and more! We believe the more you experience and learn about our natural environment, the more you will want to protect and preserve all of the amazing things it has to offer. So "Think Global. GEAUX Local!"
