40% of all food produced in the U.S.A. is wasted and sent to landfills. During Earth Week 2017, the Weigh the Waste campaign showed that Cypress Lake Dining Hall diners wasted 285 lbs. of food in one lunch period. This year we aim to reduce our environmental impacts by reducing our post-consumer food waste in Cypress Lake.
