Earth Week: Plogging

Monday, April 16, 2018 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Healthy Environment. Healthy YOU!
Join the growing movement that combines cardio with service, and leaves your community looking better than ever. Plogging is the combination of picking up litter and jogging. The altruistic fitness craze may have just recently gone viral overseas, but we all know President Savoie has been quietly leading this effort for years.

Dr. Taylor Sleauxy, a Research Scientist with our Institute for Coastal and Water Research has founded Lafayette’s own Plogging Club. Join us for a two-mile plog around campus and Downtown Lafayette. The pace is slow, but the impacts are huge! Bring your bag if you can.
