Operations

The goal of campus operations is to cultivate a healthier, more resilient campus community and mitigate our negative environmental impacts affecting both our current generation and future generations by fully institutionalizing sustainability principles, best practices, and systems into all areas of university operations and development. Campus operations are divided into the following categories:

• Air and Climate
• Energy
• Water Use and Watershed
• Landscape and Habitats
• Buildings and Planning
• Transportation
• Waste
• Procurement
• Food Systems, Health, and Well Being

In order to to assess each individual type of campus operation, past and current conditions will be evaluated and used to set specific goals for each operation.
